Running with the speed of the wind, Shweta entered the lobby of the hospital. Looking at her, the airline crew member in the hospital stood up and said—
“Sorry madam, I know you and your husband Mr. Ashish is not living together now. But after landing in Kolkata, Ashish’s health became so bad that he had to be admitted to a hospital here! After examining him, Dr. Call the patient’s next of kin. I remembered that you are here in Kolkata. So called you.”
Shweta, “But what happened suddenly, that Ashish had to be admitted to the hospital?”
Doctor, “Fear has shut down all the senses in his body.”
Shweta, “What are you saying? Ashish fainted due to fear? Fear and Ashish are not closely related. I find it hard to believe this.”
Doctor,”But madam; it is true. Your husband has seen something dreadful. So his eyes are wide open with fear.”
Shweta, “My husband is a flight purser. He has been in this job for four years. Today, he and I were arguing on the phone in the car before boarding the Mumbai-Kolkata flight! He was always doing the same duty. So what happened so suddenly on the flight that What happened to him?”
Cabin Crew, “After the flight landed at the airport, Ashish had an argument with some passenger at the ladder, who took him by the hand and dragged him to the cargo office, who knows what happened there, but Ashish fell unconscious.”
Shweta was talking to Ashish’s colleagues in the lobby of the hospital and there in the special ward of the ICU, Ashish was still staring at the ceiling with his scared eyes wide open as if he was watching a horror movie.
10 PM Mumbai Airport…….
A very busy place……… Passengers in departure hall are queuing up for boarding pass at the boarding counter……In arrival hall passengers are busy putting their luggage on the trolley……. The departure and arrival time of the flight is displayed above the timetable board. In it the announcement of flight number cg120 time bom-ccu (Mumbai to Kolkata) 2230hrs (10:30 pm) only. Passenger who are traveling to cg120 requested to go to boarding counter. After that the announcement was made in Marathi
Cargo Department— A busy place at an airport where cargo is transported by aircraft like a passenger terminal……. At the booking counter of such a busy place, an agent brought HUMAN REMAIN (dead body) to book in flight number cg102.
The staff above the counter looked at the required documents and asked the person in front of them,
“Where is the original copy?”
with passenger, Passenger also travelling in the same flight.” The other person answered.
After air-way-bill and payment, after x-ray checking, the dead body was loaded into the cargo hold of CG120 flight.
Ashish’s car came to the parking area in front of the airport, where similar cars are coming and going for parking. Another colleague of Ashish was sitting in the car. But Ashish was constantly fighting with Shweta on mobile. He doesn’t say a word to his colleague sitting on the side.
After getting out of the car, suddenly a woman stood in front of Ashish. Ashish then stopped talking on his phone and asked his colleague to go ahead.
After his colleague leaves, Ashish starts talking to the lady…
“Shweta,hold on for minute, there is one lady, want to talk to me.”
“Yes, Madam How may I help you?”
“ Hello sir , I am Aditi Joshi , my husband is traveling in this CG120 , his name is Vinay Joshi . He is a bit angry with me . He has not eaten anything since morning . Then you insist him to eat some fruits . _ And ask whether they have taken B P tablets after eating . ” _
”O K, Madam I will definitely take care of your husband.”
So Ashish again started fighting with Shweta on the phone .
Did you hear Shweta , there was a lady here whose husband has not eaten since morning and asked me to take care of him ! not like you ….. Enough now I don’t want to talk to you any more.” Saying this, Ashish disconnects the phone .
Cg 120 takes off at 10:30 PM . _ After the announcement in the flight and all the initial routine work is completed . Ashish starts serving mill to all the passengers in the plane . Just then when he comes to a passenger he sees that the passenger is very sad , his eyes are watery , he offers mill to that passenger but he rejects it . Then Ashish remembers the woman‘s words . He says , “Are you Mr.Vinay Joshi?”
“Yes”,
“O k, then have some fruit.”
He denies that too . Then Ashish urges him . _ After his insistence , Vinay is ready to eat frutus .
Soon after that, the flight landed , the doors of the plane opened , all the passengers started coming down from the ladder with their hand bags . At that time Ashish remembered the last words of that woman .
That passenger is Vinay Joshi, who was coming down from the ladder at that time . Ashish quickly went to him and asked him , “ Sir , Did you take the B.P. pills ?”
Vinay was shocked to hear this he asked , “ Yes, but how did you know ?”
” Your wife said ! she met me in the parking area at Mumbai Airport . Sir, you are very lucky that you get such caring wife.”
“What nonsense! are you mad?or are you joking? My wife passed away this morning . _ And now her dead body had been loaded in same flight.”( Her dead body had been loaded in the cargo hold of the same flight .)
“ No sir , I met your wife at Mumbai airport before joining duty ! She asked me to serve you fruit . She suddenly stood in front of me in the parking area , I got out of the car and asked me to take care of you ! .”
“Then, what do you think? Am I lying? and for your kind information I am carring her death certificate. And see her cancelled passport”
Ashish looking at the photo on the passport said , ” Sir , this is the lady I met !! I had a colleague with me and he was also seen your wife.
So Ashish calls his colleague in his car and asks ..
Ashish , ” Satish , when we got out of the car at Mumbai airport , this madam was standing in front of us , wasn’t she ?”
Satish , “ This madam ? No Ashish, there was no one there ! You were talking on the phone alone !”
” What are you saying !! This woman was standing in front of us . She told me in front of you that she wanted to talk to me and she wanted my help . I asked you to go ahead to talk to her . And I stayed back to talk to her .”
“ Yes , Ashish it is true that you asked me to go ahead . But there was no one in front of you at that time . You were talking on the phone alone ! I thought you wanted to talk very personal . So I left . “
“Oh god, ok you did n’t see that lady but there was a cctv on right in front . Wait sir, an officer at the airport is known to me . I call him now and ask him to send the CCTV footage to the mobile then you will be sure sir . ”
So Ashish goes some distance ahead and calls the officer from his mobile phone . After talking , Ashish waits for some time . Then a message comes on his mobile . There is a video in it . Ashish again comes to Vinay and says …..
” You don’t understand what I am saying , so now I will open the video of the CCTV footage and show it in front of you . You can see it . ” So Ashish opens the downloaded video on his mobile and shows it . _ Then both Vinay and Ashish start watching the video together . Ashish gets a big shock after watching the video .
In the complete CCTV footage , there is no one in front of Ashish ! In the video , Ashish can be seen talking on Bluetooth alone in the parking area . Seeing this, Vinay shouts in anger ……
” My wife died this morning . _ _ _ Now you come with me to Cargo‘s office. There I show you the dead body of my wife .”
Saying this , Vinay took Ashish ‘s hand and dragged him to the cargo office . _ There, Vinay opened the coffin and showed his wife’s body . Seeing that body , Ashish collapsed in fear ! His eyes remained open with fear . Because this was the dead body of the same woman . Ashish was asked to give fruits to her husband and then Asked to inquire whether the B.P. pills were taken or not …….
“Seeing Ashish’s bad condition, I first admitted him to the hospital! I don’t understand, if my wife, Aditi, was so worried about me, why did she leave me so suddenly? Why didn’t she come in front of me and tell me? Instead, she surrounded a stranger. Held and made him ill! Now I must start my next work. You take care of your husband,. I am leaving. “Thus Vinay wiped the water from his eyes and put on his glasses and left.
Hearing all this, Shweta also kept looking at Ashish with watery eyes.
